A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – The classic Scripture verse on this subject is:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7

As Christians, we spend far too much time worrying about how what we did yesterday will negatively impact what we wake up to tomorrow. It truly does rob us of strength—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. And the Lord makes it clear that He has our back and is ultimately in control of our lives, and all that we own, or might lose, belongs to Him.

Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7
For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. - Psalm 50:10

Corie Ten Boon would certainly be in a position to make this observation. She was a Dutch Christian who helped hide Jews from the Nazis during World War II, risking her life to save others. She was arrested and imprisoned in Ravensbrück concentration camp, where her sister Betsie died. Corrie survived, traveling the world sharing a message of forgiveness, faith, and reconciliation to all who would listen.
