A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – As Christians trying to follow God’s direction we can “do His will” but still sin in at least three ways. First, we can comply, but with a rebellious attitude. God is looking for a joyful heart in His service. Second, we can do what we are supposed to do, but with wrong motives. Pride and recognition for our pious behavior is not why we should be following our Savior. Finally, we can ignore God when He first asks us to do something. Delayed obedience is disobedience.
