Theology on the Lighter Side – Why did the Christian always wake up early? – Because they wanted to start their day with the Son!
Do you wake up every morning dreading the day or processing a list of to dos? Or do you wake up with the Son in your heart, seeking Him to establish your agenda?
There is no question that the world is consumed … with work, childcare, appointments, financial concerns, medical issues, scheduling, and on and on. However, as Biblical Christians we often forget that God knew every challenge that would confront us at every minute of every day before we were even born.
We can spend the day wringing our hands over all that needs to be accomplished, likely lying awake some of the night getting a head start. Or, we can begin the day praising His name, realizing that even though we may not like all the outcomes before us, He has it all figured out if we would just stay in His will.
Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. - Matthew 6:34
Carve out time every morning to start each day with the Son.
