Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“We live in a spiritual, lost world.”

General Revelation can draw a seeker to God, but sadly will not save anyone.

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – This is the world to which God has called us to bring the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ. Below is a quote from a reader challenging a Biblical Christian worldview of who God is.

“God is revealed to me through the warmth of the sun on my face, the vastness of the night sky, my wife’s indescribable beauty, my daughter’s ethereal smile, my son’s strength, and my dogs’ eyes.”

What could possibly be wrong with that description of who God is and the world He created?… Absolutely nothing… but the writer concludes by stating…

“I have humility as a man because of these things that oblige me to marvel, yet require no faith. They are evidence of the existence of a higher power which I am not required to know, question, or comprehend. Who is God? Maybe this is a question we all need to answer for ourselves.”

Conclusion

The above quote(s) represent the musings of one who sees the unmistakable hand of God in and through His General Revelation (details here). What is sadly missing is the key to Special Revelation, the basis of salvation.

John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
