With a Subtitle: How a hidden Satanist on Reddit reveals the enemy's playbook against Christians.
A brief Excerpt: A satanist hiding behind a Catholic identity on Reddit accidentally exposes five of satan's objectives—from sowing division to denying Jesus. Here's how to recognize the enemy's playbook and stand firm in the truth of Christ.
Last week we saw the satanist who masquerades as a Catholic online and attempts to stir up strife and division within the body of Christ.
Christians have a call to pursue peace, harmony, and unity in Christ with those who are loyal to Jesus and the active reign of God.
The unity of this spiritual “Kingdom” was what Jesus had in view as he talked about gathering or scattering. All who are not with Him in the heavenly work of His Kingdom are against Him. And Satan is very much against this Kingdom.
But what else does Satan want? Where else can we see the plans of the enemy exposed through the efforts of the unmasked satanist?

Here are five revealed objectives, which bear a striking similarity to what AI previously told me about an “analytical perspective” on Satan’s plan for America.
#1 — Hate the Outsiders
Below is a discussion from the r/AskConservatives subreddit. It’s a place where our satanist is active.
The question relates to feelings of happiness that some Americans apparently feel over seeing other Americans lose their jobs.

Finding joy in the misfortune of others. That is just the thing that our clandestine satanist wants to promote.
Our satanist, by the way, does not actually live in America. He appears to live in Canada.
Here’s what he says:

He doesn’t respond to the question directly. Instead, he takes the chance to draw a dividing line between citizens and non-citizens. Or, as he calls them, the “irregulars.”
What does this tell us?
It certainly doesn’t give a perfect plan for managing immigration in the country. But it does tell us that if we’re feeling any sort of happiness over the plight of resident aliens, we should consider who we’re aligning with.

The Bible may not directly craft political policy, but it does tell us how God feels about foreigners and outsiders.
18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. 19 And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. [Deuteronomy 10:18–19]
Regardless of our views on governance, we can have compassion knowing the God in Heaven loves exiles and foreigners.
#2 — Divide Based on Political Parties
America is sharply divided along political fault lines.
We are more polarized than at any time in our history since the Civil War.¹

And for many, blurry lines between politics and faith in Christ make it easy to believe the lie that one is the same as the other.
So perhaps it’s not surprising to see what our satanic devotee in disguise has to offer in the Catholicism subreddit on this question: is it possible to be Catholic and be a Democrat?

The masquerading satanist says “the simple answer is no.”
I’ll repeat: the person who believes in the values of Satan wants you to believe that such a thing is an impossibility.

While you consider the implications please know that this is not a defense of the Democratic party platform.
It is a reminder of how misguided we are if we think any political party is fully aligned with Jesus. It is possible to know God is sovereign and in control and recognize that Donald Trump is not Jesus.
It’s also a reminder that the political parties of His day hated the real Jesus.
In fact, the religious conservatives (Pharisees) and cultural liberals (Herodians) despised Jesus so much that they put aside their hatred for each other to try and take Him down.
Do we really think it would be all that different today?
#3 — Undermine Marriage
The data shows monogamous marriage is associated with a higher quality of life.²
And a 2025 report from the Deseret News reveals this countercultural insight: fewer sexual partners = happier marriages.³

Unlike the seemingly “boring” satisfaction of monogamy, the idea of an open marriage can seem exciting. But much of the data shows it can kill joy and life satisfaction in the long term.
Over time, women in non-monogamous relationships report increasing levels of stress and anxiety and lower levels of satisfaction. And there are psychological harms on children as well.⁴
It’s no wonder that up to 92% of all open marriages will fail.⁵

Satan loves things that seem tempting, are against God’s good plans, and lead only to misery in the long run.
So it’s not surprising to see our satanist sing the praises of open marriage as “modern, healthy, and drama free.”

God’s plan is the opposite.
It’s a life of committing to covenant faithfulness rather than seeking temporary pleasure wherever it can be found.
13 Another thing you do: You flood the Lord’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer looks with favor on your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. 14 You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.
15 Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring. So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth. [Malachi 2: 13–16]
#4 — Promote Christ Mythicism
More than anything else, Satan really doesn’t want you to believe in Jesus.
The authors of a 2024 book called Christ Before Jesus argue that the early Jesus followers were part of a “Christ movement” that was based on a celestial myth and not a historical figure. They claim that the idea of a historical Jesus was a later development.

The book dismisses credible historical references to Jesus and His followers from historians like Tacitus, Suetonius, and Josephus. Further, it ignores the limits of stylometry and relies on a muddled methodology that lacks transparency.
Yet the authors claim to have used “peer-reviewed mathematics” (hmm?) and make intellectual-sounding arguments that might seem plausible to someone new, or wavering, in their Christian faith.
No wonder that our secret satanist would hope to get more eyeballs on it.

Committed Christians and real historians alike know this is a non-serious view held by a minority of secular scholars who oppose Christianity.
The truth of the Gospel is that Jesus has come to live, die, and rise again to defeat the reign of Satan, sin, and death. All who come to Him have new life in His Kingdom.
Sorry, Satan.
#5 — The God of Behavior Not the God of Grace
The Christian claim is that God loves us simply because He loves us. In other words, God’s grace is something you accept but you didn’t earn.
It can be a hard truth to swallow, especially in achievement based cultures. It requires submission and humility before God.
But as we grow in realizing this paradoxically wonderful reality, we learn to trust and obey Him joyfully as a Good Father who loves His children.

Satan does not want you to know this. He is a legalist who desires to focus only on the letter of the law and to ignore the mercy of God. He wants you to flee from a sense of holy guilt that leads to repentance, and instead live under condemnation or simply reject God completely
Satan wants you to ignore the Parable of the Lost Son that shows the heart of God to run after the wanderer who has turned towards Him. He wants you to believe you must earn God’s love and be crushed by the weight when you inevitably realize you can never live up to perfection.
Keep this in mind when you consider this anguished question posted in the Catholicism subreddit:
“I can’t become a Christian if I have misanthropic tendencies. I can’t love God if I hate mankind.”
We first see a gracious and patient response from someone on the thread. A person who gently points out small steps that could be markers on the journey to this person realizing he is truly loved by God.

Our satanist has a different message.

He responds with indifference and a startling lack of care. It’s jarring but shouldn’t be shocking. This is precisely what Satan wants you to think.
He is proud, resentful, legalistic, and full of hatred for humanity.
Why?
God loves the world. And God loves the humans He created as His image bearers.
Satan hates God. And Satan hates humans because God loves humans and we are made in the image of God.

This is why Jesus came. To provide redemption so that humans could be reconciled to God through His perfect and finished work of sacrificial victory on the Cross.
Satan desires the opposite of God in every way.⁶ And ironically, he accidentally gives us a playbook if we desire to follow God’s will.
We simply do the opposite of what our online satanist has done.
We can boldly proclaim the divinity and centrality of Jesus. We can build others up through love rather than tearing down through promoting division. We can extend mercy and compassion to others.
And we can rest in confidence knowing that ultimate victory is secure in Christ.
Scripture like Luke 12: 2–3 reminds us that all secretive manipulation and hypocrisy will eventually be revealed. That’s the last hidden truth revealed by our secret Satanic Temple devotee.
On another Catholic thread showing young children dressed up in clerical vestments, he can’t resist the urge to expose his real identity.

Oh, those satanic temple types reddit.com/r/catholicmemes
The truth has a way of coming out in time.
