Satan condemns in broad terms “you are bad”.

The Holy Spirit convicts in specifics, “your action was bad".

Satan hammers believers with sweeping shame, whispering you are bad and always will be. The Holy Spirit works differently, naming the specific act and calling us back to follow Christ into the world.

Quick Quote – Source – John Melancon

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Satan is trying to destroy the testimony of Christians, to break us down, and make us impotent and fearful in sharing God’s truth. The Holy Spirit is trying to mold us and shape us as the Potter shapes the clay, in order to conform us to be His disciples to a lost and dying world. Satan condemns the Christian where the Counselor calls the Christian to repent and “follow Me as fishers of men”.
