— Mission Statement —
Providing insight on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

Quality of ministry is more important than quantity when viewed from Heaven.

God desires our hearts to be eternally focused, and not just our earthly efforts.

One of the notable traits of Mormons is their social responsibility (details here) to ensure an adequate storehouse of food and supplies for their family. Furthermore, they and Johova’s Witnesses are notorious for their dedication to the ministry of evangelism (details here). However, all that “quantity” of effort has no “quality”, if viewed from an eternal perspective as a Biblical Christian. Our short time on earth sadly pales in comparison to the ultimate destination of those who have accepted their false teachings.

More controversial, perhaps, is the sad reality that many who have compassion for the underprivileged, downtrodden, persecuted, and impoverished can toil their whole lives in service of “ministry”, yet, at the passing of their charges, Hell awaits without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Even more controversial are theologically weak Christians and pastors who invest their lives in the pursuit of helping others improve their lives for a relatively short time on earth, only to be condemned for eternity without recognizing the significance of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

In Luke 10:27 God is clear that the sign of a Christian INCLUDES, but is not limited to, “loving our neighbor”. He calls us to first ‘love Him and to obey His commands’. It is only from that foundation that we offer an eternal ministry.

Like the difference between the value of the widow’s mite vs. the rich man’s vast wealth, (Luke 21:1-4), as Biblical Christians in the Lord’s service, we need to understand that the “quantity” of our “works” is anemic if we do not sprinkle it with the salt of the gospel, demonstrating the “quality” of our ministry through the lens of eternity.
