HOW GOD HEALED MY EYESIGHT AFTER 11 YEARS OF WEARING GLASSES

God, the King of Impossibilities

I write this testimony with immense gratitude and joy in my heart, giving all the glory to God.

When I was in Primary 6, the last class before entering high school, I started struggling to see the class board, even though I sat right in the front row. Eventually, my parents took me to see a doctor and I was diagnosed with myopia, or short-sightedness. The doctor explained that I could only see objects near me clearly, while distant objects were blurry. I was prescribed glasses to manage the condition.

From that point on, glasses became a part of my daily life. At first, I wore them only in class or while studying. But over time, I found myself relying on them constantly — only taking them off to sleep.

As the years passed, my vision did not improve. In fact, it worsened. During one check-up, the optician told me plainly, “You will need glasses for the rest of your life. Your condition is incurable, but it can be managed with stronger lenses.” Hearing those words crushed me. I could not imagine a life permanently tied to glasses — not on my wedding day, not at my graduation, not ever.

I vividly remember leaning against the hospital wall, feeling defeated. In that moment of despair, a verse from Scripture came to my heart:

“Who declares a thing and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not ordained it?”

It hit me — the doctor’s report was not the final say. It was temporary and subject to God’s authority. I serve a God who specializes in the impossible, and I knew He could heal me.

Still leaning against the wall, I whispered a prayer in my heart: “Holy Spirit, what should I do?”

The answer came quietly but firmly: “Faith.”

I realized I didn’t need to do anything extraordinary to receive my healing — I just needed to believe. So, I decided to pray about it and trust God completely, even though a small part of me wondered if I had enough faith for such a miracle. But deep down, I was tired of living with this condition. I wanted to be free.

Two months later, my healing came.

I attended a church program where a man of God, known for his healing ministry, instructed everyone to place their hand on the area needing healing and to pray. With faith, I took off my glasses, placed my hands over my eyes, and prayed fervently, asking God to restore my sight.

Shortly after, I left the church because it was getting late. As I walked home, I heard a gentle voice within me — it must have been the Holy Spirit — saying: “If you have prayed for healing, why are your glasses still in your bag? Break them as a sign of your complete trust in God.”

Without hesitation, I obeyed. I broke the glasses, symbolizing my faith in God’s power to heal me. It was not an easy decision — my emotions were all over the place. But when I was done, the Holy Spirit said to me:

“If the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.”

Instantly, I felt an overwhelming peace and joy. I went home thanking God and began doing things I hadn’t done without my glasses for years. To my amazement, I could see clearly — better than ever before!

God is so kind and faithful. It has been days now since I stopped wearing glasses, and I haven’t stumbled or fallen.

This healing is permanent, and I give God all the glory.

If you’re reading this testimony and trusting God for healing — whether it’s for your eyes, body, or any other area of your life — I pray that God will reveal His power to you and answer your heart’s desires. No matter what the medical reports say, God has the final word.

Trust Him. Believe Him. And when your miracle comes, don’t forget to share your testimony.

We serve a living God! Truly, what God cannot do does not exist.
