The Lord provided a sacrifice for mankind in the form of His only Son. We need to actively accept that free gift.

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – A safety deposit box has two keys, one we keep and one the bank has control over. Both need to be turned to open the box.

In the case of God and man, God unlocked the box of salvation with His key when Christ died on the cross. That action opened up an opportunity for all of humanity to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. The Lord calls out His desire that all would be saved (1 Tim. 2:4).

We need to open the second lock with our key, to accept God’s grace and love by accepting Christ as our personal Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9). God is standing in the bank vault, with His key turned in the lock, waiting for us to approach and turn our key that opens our heart to His love and eternal provision.
