“Anger is like a check engine light on your car.”

We need to be watchful of the source of our anger.

Quote Source – Jarrod Scott

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – What do you get angry about? Is anger always a sin?

Anger is often, but not always, a sin. We know that God in the Old Testament (Psalm 7:11), and Jesus in the New Testament (Mark 3:5) got angry. There is even specific reference to human anger as not always be part of our sinful nature…

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, – Ephesians 4:26

Anger is a form of warning sign that often comes from a place of pride or arrogance and, in those cases, it is sin. So when you get frustrated, ask yourself, where is my anger coming from and, as with your car, seek the mechanic of your heart to fix the problem before it becomes distructive.

For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. – James 1:20
