A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – There are of course many ways to accomplish that goal, including voting for those going into public service, financially supporting groups that promote Biblical standards, and being proactive in peaceful demonstrations. Christians are probably most fearful of running for political office themselves. We are called to live in peace with all mankind (Rom. 12:18) and commanded to follow our elected officials because God put them in place (Rom. 13:1-2). Interestingly, the best way to both follow God’s commands and follow our government’s dictates is to have elected Christians in a position of helping to establish our laws, as was largely the case 50 years ago.
