We need to treat the lost as future believers.

Love those you hope to see in Heaven.

When unbelievers mock our faith, the temptation is to shut down and close off. But the lost are watching how we live, and treating them as outcasts only seals their distance from grace.

Quick Quote – Source – Klaus Meyer

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – It is tempting to get frustrated with unbelievers. When they chastise us for our faith, our theology, and our behavior, it is so easy to become defensive. Our response is often to close up our hearts, believing that nothing we can say will make any difference. The truth is that they watch us to see if we are “living out our faith” or not. Are we truly different or is it just self-righteous lip service? God calls us to love Him and our neighbor and, it is through that love we show a shadow of the grace He has shown us. To treat the lost as outcasts does nothing more than close our hearts with a self-fulfilling prophecy.
