A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – One of the hardest things to understand about God is, “why do bad things happen to good people”. Of course, we can offer the point that “no one is good, not even one” but, to the lost, that certainly has a hollow ring to it. Frankly, in the midst of pain in the life of the Biblical Christian, it offers little comfort, as do phrases like “God will not allow us to bear more than we can take” and “His ways are greater than our ways” and “all things work together…”.

The truth is, beyond Scripture quotes and platitudes, we really don’t know why the Author of creation does what He does. The Good News is that we can look forward to a time when we will get answers to most, if not all, our questions and He has provided us with a Holy Counselor in the meantime, if we would only take advantage of that resource.
