Providing insight on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“We do not need to agree with the Bible to follow it.”

Christians need to consider Who is in charge of our lives.

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Candidly, there are a few things God has written in His word that I disagree with. However, the point of who is the Lord of our lives is at issue when dealing with these conflicts.

When we choose our way over God’s, we are concluding one of four things. Either we believe (1) God is not omniscient (2) the Bible is not an expression of His truth, (3) we are allowed to reinterpret His word, or (4) God is speaking to us something contradictory to His word.

His ways are truly above our ways, His thoughts above our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). Are we really ready to reject clear teachings in Scripture because we think we know better?
