— Mission Statement —
Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“We are never too small, but can be too large, for God to use us.”

The success of our service to God is dependent on His grace, not our efforts.

Quote Source – Jarrod Scott

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – The Biblical story of Gideon is a good illustration of this point. Gideon gathered 32,000 Israelites to fight the huge Midianite army of 135,000 men. However, from God’s perspective, 32,000 was far too many, and eventually the number became only 300 men. Further, Gideon’s “army” carried no weapons, only torches, clay jars, and trumpets, yet they routed the Midianites who turned on each other in fear and confusion.

There are times in our lives when pride has us believing we are the reason for success, rather than God. When the 300 Israelites got the best of 32,000 Midanites, no one questioned who should get the glory for success.

God may diminish us before allowing us to succeed (under His power).

Proverbs 29:23 – One’s pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
