According to today’s world, the knowledge of good and evil is a concept — an opinion or perception — to be debated by armchair internet philosophers, relativistic politicians, and priests and laymen alike.

But good and evil is a truth.
You are either good or evil.

Life would be very simple if Man could only listen.
If Man could just see the black-and-white, never-changing reality of Truth.
The Truth is so very simple.
It’s not meant to be complicated.
It’s not a thing to be fought over or chased.
It’s not meant to be traded or bought.

It is love, pure and simple — 
Paid for with a price,
Then given for love’s sake,
Out of love,
To prove the meaning of the eternal, unchanging reality of His love.

Don’t try to buy it,
Work for it,
Or change it.

Just take it,
Treasure it,
Love it,
Praise it,
And feed on it.

This is Life:
To be a child again in my Father’s embrace.
To trust in someone bigger than I.
To have someone who backs me up when I need it,
Who pushes me when I need it,
Who calms my fears in the worst situations,
Who carries me home when I can go no further.

My Father can DO ANYTHING!

A reader made the point that the words “You are either good or evil” could be misinterpreted to suggest that humanity has a choice. In fact the Bible is clear that no one is good (Romans 3:10) and, to be free from the penalty of our sin nature, we need to accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9). However, once we respond in faith, from God’s perspective, we do become “good” as the Lord no longer sees our sin (Psalms 103:12) even thought it remains part of the life of a believer (Romans 7:22-24).
