Quick Quote – Source – Jarrod Scott
A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Often our love for others comes from our own needs. Companionship, support, and especially all forms of attraction can be selfish reasons used to answer the question, “Why do you love your neighbor”. Our love can also be dependent on the response of others or the way we behave while around them. God, on the other hand, knows the sin that is in a man (Romans 5:8), yet He still loves us without condition or limitation. He desires to have a relationship with us and His love knows no bounds (1 Cor. 13:4-8).
