Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“The question is not who God controls, but who desires to be controlled.”

We need politicians who are true Biblical Christians.

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I recently received another in the long line of comments critical of the Christian “lemmings” who are supposedly blindly following obediently behind one of our presidential candidates. My response, in part, was,

“I would respectfully offer the notion that anyone who is a public figure who seems to offer a similar viewpoint of a group, gets encouraged to continue. The problem with our presidential choices is that, as a complete package, they are both extremely flawed in areas that fall outside the issues supported by their constituents. Of course, in my view, we are all sinners in need of a Savior. But some sins, and/or their extremes, should put one outside the range of being an acceptable candidate to run for a leadership position of the greatest nation in the world, much less having their finger on potentially the world’s total destruction.”

Ultimately, we need candidates who love the Lord and desire to follow His word… those who desire to be controlled by the Creator of the universe. Some define that as a theocracy, however, the moral precepts of the Bible are universal and a true theocracy will not appear on our earthly stage before Christ returns.
