A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Salvation is through God’s grace, having nothing to do with our efforts. That is clear from verses such as Eph. 2:8-9 and the illustration of the thief who was shown grace while on the cross next to Jesus in Luke 23:39-42. Unforgiven sin and an unrepentant heart are the elements we bring to the equation that can be overcome by accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Romans 10:9 – because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
