A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – In 2023 there were 16,060 baptisms within Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) churches in the state of North Carolina. That figure represented a 41% increase from the previous year. In nearly all cases, baptisms within the SBC occur as a result of an individual making a profession of faith to follow Christ.
God chooses His own timetable and methods to bring the lost into a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ.
There is a consistent theme in America that the Lord is losing ground, that secular morality is replacing a Biblical Christian Worldview. And, to a large degree, this assessment is true if one looks at overall church attendance. However, there will always be a remnant of believers up to the point where Christ returns for His own (1 Thes.4:17).
Romans 11:5 – So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
Revelation 14:12 – Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
At least in North Carolina, that remnant appears to be increasing!
