Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles
A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Evangelism is best served by expressing the joy of a life in fellowship with Christ and not a life destined to eternity in Hell. Yes, we need to be all things to all people in order to save some (1 Cor. 9:22). However, there is enough anger and resentment toward Christians already. More importantly, though Jesus likely spoke more about Hell in the Scriptures than Heaven (details here), His emphasis was on loving our neighbor (Luke 10:27) as one of the two greatest commandments for believers. Fear is a poor motivator. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal 5:22-23), should be the demonstrated attributes of Christians calling the lost sheep into the fold (Matt. 18:12-14).
