Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“Purgatory Should Not Be a Deal Breaker for the Biblical Christian.”

Heaven or Hell is the bottom line.

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I feel certain there are many Catholics in Heaven, though I don’t personally see purgatory in the Bible. However, every denomination, church, and Christian has parts of their theology that are out of alignment with God, in my view. No human has the level of omniscience to fully understand the theology of the Creator of the universe.

Ultimately, all our questions will be answered at the feet of our Father in Heaven. What we need while we remain on earth is to be saved from experiencing punishment for our sin by accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. Not through our own efforts, but through His grace, faith, and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9). All the requirements that some religions and denominations add to that simple message either put a stumbling block in our fellowship with God or, worse yet, prevent that relationship from forming in the first place.
