Not all addictions are sin, but all sin is addictive.

Quick Quote – Source – Jarrod Scott

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Webster defines “addiction” as, “a strong inclination to do, use, or indulge in something repeatedly”. When Jesus commands the believer to, “pray without ceasing” in 1 Thes. 5:17 that is just one example of a Godly addiction. Another is expressed when we are called to “love the Lord with all our heart, soul mind and strength” (Luke 10:27).

However, what is equally true is that evil is also addictive and deadly.

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Fortunately God has offered a solution to sinful addiction, which is Godly addiction.
