A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Before the internet, CliffsNote pamphlets were a quick way to know the essential highlights of a book students were required to either be tested or report on. Most educational institutions considered them a form of cheating because their short-form content missed so much of the depth and beauty of great literary works. 

The sad truth is that going to church, and even adult Sunday School once a week (or less) without an impactful devotional life the remaining six days of the week, is like living the CliffsNote version of Biblical Christianity.
