Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“Let us be eager to leave what is familiar for what is true.”

Webster - Eager - "Marked by enthusiastic or impatient desire or interest."

Quote Source – Francis Chan

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – What is “familiar” are our daily lives on earth, filled with distractions and the challenges of raising our families and all that comes with it. What is true is God’s desire for our focus to be on His Word and to spread it to others….

1 Timothy 2:4 – [God] Who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The familiar is mortal and the truth is eternal. Should we not carve out more time for addressing the eternal with our loved ones, our co-workers, and our friends and neighbors?

2 Corinthians 5:20 – Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

Christians hold the key to eternal life in Heaven. Lifestyle evangelism will not suffice when we can offer relationship/friendship evangelism to those around us. How “eager” are you to plant and water the seeds of God’s truth (1 Corinthians 3:6) to a lost and dying world?
