Providing insight on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“I’m ok, you’re ok” theology.

Biblical Christians, by definition, must be evangelists.

Biblical Christians, by definition, must be evangelists.

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I have been a Christian since 1989, not a casual Christian, but one who has spent a great deal of time, prayer, and study … reaching the conclusion that there are three levels of beliefs: essential, core, and non-core. The first two groups are identified in the link below.

To me there is one essential … how to get to Heaven. Beyond that, there are seven more Core beliefs that are firmly rooted in my worldview. That leaves literally thousands of points in theology where I could be wrong and am open to discussion. The time and vigor that I choose to devote to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ and challenging false teachings is predicated on the following belief …

If you believed that your loved ones were not going to Heaven unless they accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior, you would, or should, be pressing these essential points as well. Further, if you believed God was calling you to share that truth with a lost and dying world, you would be doing all that you could to spread that worldview as far as the Lord would provide an opportunity to do so.

Two of the most destructive ploys of Satan is to have people believe there are multiple paths to Heaven and for “Christians” to accept a role in life of saying, “This is what I believe … but it is ok for you to believe whatever you wish.” It is the social construct of “I’m ok, you’re ok” theology. The only difference is that the underlying belief of “believe whatever you wish as long as it does not hurt anyone else” is a false narrative because we all want to spend eternity in Heaven, not Hell. And those are the only two choices on the other side of the grave.

All Biblical Christians should be evangelists in some form or another; first, because the Bible tells us to do so, and second, because to do otherwise is to reject the reality of our faith …

John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Matthew 7:13-14 - “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Romans 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
