Busy ministry schedules can quietly crowd out the One the ministry is meant to serve. God is all-powerful and needs nothing from us, yet He invites fellowship, because shaping us matters more to Him than using us.

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – We can get so focused on “doing God’s work” that we forget that He doesn’t need our efforts, He wants our fellowship. God is all-knowing and all-powerful and therefore can accomplish His will in any way He wishes. The Lord does allow us to become involved in ministry but sanctification, or “growing in divine grace as a result of Christian commitment” (Webster), is His true desire.
