If mankind was given unquestionable evidence of the existence of God, the consequences of sin, the sacrifice of Christ, the embedding of the Holy Spirit, the joy that awaits the Christian, and the wisdom of the Bible as our life coach on earth… would there be any need for love or worship of the Lord?
When a man desires others to praise him, it is called the sin of pride. When God asks us to praise Him, it is the fulfillment of a command. We can arrogantly choose to reject that command of the Creator of the universe, at our peril and missed eternal opportunity for joy in and through Him.
