A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – If you dig into the theology of other major religions there is, underlying a willingness to obtain favor with its version of almighty power, the need to comply with certain rituals and commands as a prerequisite.
Christianity is the only true religion and it is the only systematic theology whose foundation is not works-based. We cannot earn our way to Heaven.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
God calls His people to follow His word, the Bible as a sign of love and respect, not as a basis for returned favor. That is unique among religious doctrine.
Our service comes from our love for the sacrifice He made in sending His only Son to live a perfect life on earth and die in payment for our sins, past, present, and future. Praise the Lord!
