Can I Help You Find a Biblical Christian Church

The first place to start is online and that can be done from anywhere.

My long list of “future articles I want to write ” includes the important topic of how to find a good Bible-believing church home. There are so many sources of deconstruction rhetoric on the institution of the church.

God clearly identified the church as a primary focus for the sanctification of the believer and to offer answers to eternal questions for the seeker.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24-25
Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:20-22

This morning as I began responding to reader questions, I had two in a row that included a need to seek a strong Bible-believing church fellowship. Below is the second of those two.

In the process of answering, frustrated that I still had not devoted time to writing about what one should be looking for… I offered another idea that put hands to my plea for a return to regular church attendance (see Conclusion below).

A reader commented on one of our Q&A posts on the eternal state of the unsaved (post here).

“I’ve been a Christian for 46 years and just hanging in because I am afraid of hell!!! What a way to live. I can’t see people going to hell for ETERNITY for a few miserable years on earth. My sister died of cancer at 42. Don’t think she’s was a Christian. Now in hell for eternity. I wish I could believe all the Bible teaches. So much easier to be black and white. I have cried out to God for understanding but to no avail.”

My Response…

I am so sorry for your place in the faith. Fear is not to be the foundation for our love of God… but easy to say, not do at times. Especially the case when facing the issue with departed loved ones. I think “crying out to God” is a sign of the Holy Spirit directing your actions. So many who are Christians in name only turn away from God in those times when their prayers remain unanswered.

If you are alone, I would strongly recommend finding a good, local, Biblical Christian church to attend. If you tell me what city/town you are located in, I’ll research and give you some suggestions. My email address is jeff@bcworldview.org. Also, I’ll be praying for you. Life can be tough, but with faith, there can be hope and even joy.

Conclusion

My email address is embedded within this short post. Put simply, internet research is one of my (few) strong suits. If anyone wants me to research their city/town, looking for a “good Biblical Christian” church in their area… just send me a private email and I would be happy to help.
