A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I love to go to restaurants that offer a buffet. There’s so much to choose from and I can pick only the things that I really like and ignore the items that I don’t. What’s more my wife and I have very different tastes in food (healthy vs. unhealthy) and so at a buffet, she can get what she wants and I can get what I want.
So many carnal Christians treat the Bible like a buffet. They pick and choose what they like, pluck out those verses, often out of context, and ignore the rest by saying that it was written by man, not God, or has been misinterpreted by traditional theologians.
The Bible is not a buffet. It is a unified instruction manual for life.
2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
Matthew 5:18 – For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
