A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Atheism is a religion rather than a science or fact. It includes the assumption that there is no Creator and that something, yet unknowable, created the “dot” that became the universe. Further, it necessitates a belief that mutation and natural selection created complex structures without replicable evidence to support that claim (examples – the eye and ear – seeing and hearing requires bringing together multiple harmonious mutations at the same time in order to improve survival rates). Those concepts have crossed the line from scientific facts into a form of faith, which brings them into the realm of a religion.
