Theology on the Lighter Side –Aside from Adam & Eve, who in the Bible had no parents? – Joshua, son of Nun (“none”).
Joshua took over from Moses, as second in command and was considered one of the greatest military leaders in the Bible. However, the real power behind the Israelites as they conquered the Promised Land, was God.
Numbers 11:28 – And Joshua the son of Nun, the assistant of Moses from his youth, said, “My lord Moses, stop them.”
