As Christians, we are calmed during the storms of life by the degree to which our spirit relies on the Spirit, which resides within each of us.

Quick Quote – Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – If one truly believes that God is in control (Isaiah 41:10), that He keeps us safe in the palm of His hand (John 10:28), that He takes care of us (Mat. 6:30), that He loves us unconditionally (Rom. 5:8), then we should not be anxious about the storms of life.

Philippians 4:6 – do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

The sad reality is that as much as we have faith that all this is true, we remain bound by our own spirit as we grow in Christ, seeking a greater and greater reliance on the Holy Spirit.
