A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – AI is a different “beast” than anything humanity has created in all history. For the first time, technology will exceed man’s ability to control it. Disguised as a tremendous benefit for society, it will soon become self sustaining, self reliant, self perpetuating, and therefore independent of our ability to manage it. Further, it will be so ubiquitous, we will rely on it to a point where pulling the plug will not be possible, even if we could find a plug to pull. Fully relying on a technology that manages and controls our lives could not be a better scenario for our chief adversary.
