Peter Thiel, Trump, and the Antichrist

Theil is intentionally drawing attention away from the truth. The deeper question is, why?

If one spends any time on internet conspiracy theories, Peter Thiel has likely appeared in your surfing. His background and influence are not to be taken lightly; however, his underlying motivation for promoting his views on the Antichrist, coupled with Thiel’s long friendship with President Trump, make him a very interesting end-times character.

Briefly, Peter Thiel is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist who was the cofounder of PayPal and one of the first investors in Facebook. He has a net worth of nearly 21 billion dollars. He has achieved business success in the technology sector, and he currently aligns with the MAGA movement. But, at the same time, he is opposed to all forms of traditional politics that attempt to cover up truth (such as related to Epstein, COVID-19, etc.). Quoting from a popular essay he wrote (“The Straussian Movement”) …

“One must never forget that one day all will be revealed, that all injustices will be exposed, and all those who perpetuated them will be held to account.”

Thiel’s View of the Antichrist

Thiel has recently presented a heavily reported four-part lecture series expressing his view of the origin of the future Antichrist. His firm belief is that the entrance of this prophesied figure will come as one who is OPPOSED to all forms of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence. Contemporary examples of this type of personality include popular figures such as Greta Thunberg and Eliezer Yudkowsky (strong AI critic). Thiel is on a campaign to ensure AI regulations are kept to a minimum, invoking religion and Christianity in particular, in an attempt to drive more and more funding into AI in anticipation of the coming of the Antichrist. His theory is that the more ubiquitus artificial intelligence is, the more resistance we will have against Satan and the coming end-times persecution.

Intersection of Christianity and AI

Religion and AI have become increasingly intertwined over the last few years. Those who are sufficiently forward-looking can see beyond the glamor and initial potential of this powerful tool. However, most pundits today are so enthralled with the immense potential of AI that its long-term, negative consequences appear fanciful and elusive.

Looking beyond a ten-year horizon, AI, in this author’s view, is a threat to both Christianity and humanity in general. The benefits of AI and the risks associated with the US falling behind in its advancement make the advent of artificial intelligence undeniable. Uncontrolled advancement by sinners (which is what humanity is) will create an entry point for corruption on every level, including control of our cars, utilities, communication systems, and our nuclear arsenal. What we have seen recently in the takedown of internet applications is the tip of the iceberg compared to the interconnected control systems of a future AI-based world.

America is building a massive AI infrastructure under President Trump’s leadership. This includes huge data centers across the US, mini-nuclear generators to power these data centers, and a protective dome to protect our military and data infrastructure.

What would be the Antichrist’s strategy?

If you were Satan, who desires to take over the world through the arrival of the Antichrist during the end-times prophesied in Revelation, Daniel, and Ezekiel … which approach would you take …?

  • (1) Thiel, a close friend of Trump, suggests that we need to push aggressively forward with AI development as a hedge against a future Antichrist that desires to rule a world without technology, especially AI. And Trump continues to aggressively push forward with AI and its supporting infrastructure, as no past president has ever done.
  • (2) Desire that humanity put severe limits on AI to slow the technology down so it will not interfere with his plans for world domination.

The Antichrist is, or will be, under the control of Satan, who masquerades as the angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), always trying but never succeeding to mimic the power and authority of God.

Since we know Satan is not omnipotent (all-powerful), nor is he omniscient (all-knowing) … which view above is more logical …? Would Satan, by way of the Antichrist, desire to enter a world without AI or a world where AI falls under his control? And, if the latter is the more obvious answer and Satan is “the father of lies” (John 8:44), isn’t it intriguing that Peter Thiel, a technology multibillionaire and close personal friend of President Trump, is suggesting a Satan who desires a low-tech worldview? I don’t think so.

Could it be that we are entering a time when all eyes are focused on AI as our hero when, in fact, it will be our demise … all while being told to look the other way?

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. - Matthew 24:44
