Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“Could it be that Christians are to lay low…

and let the world continue on its destructive path?"

Quote Source – Jeff Hilles

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – There is so much anger over Biblical Christians interjecting our views into politics, laws, and our view of moral decay. Even carnal Christians no longer want to associate with us. Churches are closing down in developed countries. Deconstruction is the religious buzzword of the day, with little or no intention to reconstruct into a Biblical Christian worldview.

Is it possible that the best course of action for traditional Biblical Christians is to just hunker down, hide within our churches, not speak a word to others about our faith, and just wait for the Rapture or our own death?

Is it possible that the increasing headwinds we seem to be facing are actually being created by God Himself? In Acts 5:17… the apostles were preaching the same theology we now hold and the Sanhedrin was trying to decide what to do with them. A wise and thoughtful member stood up and said….

Acts 5:35, 38-42 “Men of Israel, take care what you are about to do with these men... So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice, and when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name. And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus."

If we choose to apply Acts 5 to the present day, then we need to accept the verbal persecution of those who see us as nationalistic, narcissistic, and promoting a theocracy. Every American has a worldview through which they filter their beliefs, hopes and dreams. Each of us apply that worldview to our politics, our definition of morality, and what is acceptable behavior. As Biblical Christians we are no different in desiring a world which recognizes a Creator and where all have heard the Good News of Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord.
