A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – An old joke has been told that when rescuers picked up the stranded sailor, marooned on a deserted island for more than a decade, they asked him why he had built three huts on the beach. He responded that the first one was his home, the second was his church, and the third was his old church.

In the past, folks would move from one church to another. Today, perhaps due in part to deconstruction and the pandemic, folks who leave their church are staying home rather than moving to a new church. We are a nation no longer looking for a spiritual foundation from the formal church setting, and have found outlets elsewhere for engaging in social community.

Excuses and rationalizations abound for carnal Christians. The Biblical Christian church has not changed, mankind has.

Acts 20:28 – Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
