The Parts We Learn to Hide
There are parts of yourself that feel easier to hide. The struggles no one knows about. The thoughts you feel ashamed to say out loud. The sadness you learned to tuck away. The disappointment, grief, anger, loneliness, or exhaustion you quietly carry while trying to look okay. Sometimes broken women become skilled at hiding. Not because they are dishonest. But because pain can feel vulnerable. And after being misunderstood, rejected, or wounded, hiding can feel safer than being fully seen.
When “I’m Fine” Hides the Truth
Perhaps you tell people, “I’m fine” when you are not. Perhaps there are wounds you avoid touching. Thoughts you are afraid to admit. Questions you feel guilty for asking. Perhaps there are parts of yourself you fear God would not understand.
Nothing Is Hidden from God
But friend, hear this gently: Nothing is hidden from God. Nothing. This Scripture reminds us: “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.” He sees the struggle beneath the smile. The grief beneath the silence. The fear beneath the strong face. The questions beneath your faith. He sees the wounds you cover. The thoughts you do not know what to do with. The hidden ache you cannot explain.
Seen Completely and Loved Without Hesitation
And here is the part your weary heart may need most: He sees it all — and still loves you. Fully. Completely. Without hesitation. Without pulling away. Without shame. You do not have to hide your pain to be loved by God. You do not have to clean yourself up before coming near Him. You are already fully seen. And fully loved.
Where Healing Begins
Perhaps healing begins here: Not in pretending you are okay, but in trusting that the God who sees everything has not turned away from you.
Truth for Today
I am fully seen and fully loved by God.
Prayer
Lord, help me stop hiding from You. You already see the places I struggle, the thoughts I carry, and the wounds I try to conceal. Teach me to trust that I am safe in Your love and that nothing about me causes You to turn away. Help me rest in the truth that I am fully seen, fully known, and deeply loved by You. Amen.

Editor Comment: This one will reach the women who have learned to say "I'm fine" when they aren't. You wrote it gently, and that gentleness is what lets the truth land. Thank you for reminding us that being fully seen by God is not something to fear, but the very place healing starts.
