When asked if they agreed that “the Bible is totally accurate in all principles it presents” …

• 36% of respondents agreed
• 39% of respondents disagreed

Among practicing Christians, defined as those who attend church at least once a month and indicate that their faith is “very important” in their lives, the following results were found …

• 88% of respondents agreed
• 4% of respondents disagreed

Among the general public …

• 18% believed that the Bible was written to “control or manipulate other people.”
• 58% believed that the “Bible has transformed my life.”
