- 36% of respondents agreed
- 39% of respondents disagreed
Among practicing Christians, defined as those who attend church at least once a month and indicate that their faith is “very important” in their lives, the following results were found …
- 88% of respondents agreed
- 4% of respondents disagreed
Among the general public …
- 18% believed that the Bible was written to “control or manipulate other people.”
- 58% believed that the “Bible has transformed my life.”
For those who think Christianity is disappearing in America, you are missing the heartland and the heart of this great country. Imagine how the perceived value of the Bible will increase, as documented by this poll when it is taken in January of 2026. One indicator is that the sale of Bibles in the US rose 36% in the month of September as compared to the previous year, according to Circana BookScan.
