Theology on the Lighter Side – Why didn’t Noah go fishing? – Because he had only two worms!
Was it really possible that Noah could hold two of every animal on the ark (Gen. 6:19-20)?
According to Genesis 6:15, the ark was approximately 550 feet long, 92 feet wide, and 55 feet high, totaling 2.8mm cubic feet of space. One estimate is that there were 8k “kinds” which is assumed to be broader than “species” and only 15% were larger than a sheep. So, yes, the ark could handle all the animals, food, and people during the flood (details here).
