Theology on the Lighter Side – What did Adam say to Eve when handing her something to wear? “Take it or leaf it.”
The transition from Adam and Eve’s innocence to wisdom of good and evil was not the issue. Their disobedience resulted in our inherited sin nature today. And that willful rejection of a command from a supreme God still haunts us as we deal with our own bad behavior.
However, all that is inconsequential when seen from the lens of eternity in either Heaven or Hell. The decision we make on earth to accept or reject Jesus as both our Savior and Lord is one that will remain unchangeable outside of time.
