Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“Some wish to live within the sound of Church or Chapel bell…”

"I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell.”

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – The American Biblical Christian church is sadly full of theologically sound, yet relatively comfortable, believers living day-to-day amongst the lost. In a time of easily sparked confrontation on any number of issues, Christians have become fearful of opposing the world around them. As with any other like-minded group, we cluster together for protection and mutual support.

My wife and I recently returned from Turkey, a country whose population is 98% Muslim. In the city of Istanbul alone, there are 4,000 Mosques. Their version of “the sound of Chapel bells” is the Imam’s call to worship, five times a day, from each minaret loudspeaker. For Christians, this is “a rescue shop within a yard of Hell.”

Romans 1:16a - For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

Are you ashamed of the gospel in your own backyard?

Mark 8:38 - For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
