A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – When we are sick, we slow down and often increase our rest time. If significant, we seek out medical advice that can include drugs or even surgery to resolve the issue. The same is true for sin. As mature Christians, we can often self-diagnose ourselves, pray, and repent. However sometimes we are either blind to the sin or it is so pervasive, that we need help from others as accountability partners. The sad reality is that the lost do not have these resources. The starting point for recovery begins with an acceptance of the ultimate Healer of all diseases in our lives, Jesus Christ.
