A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – Jesus called out to his disciples to be sheep among wolves (Matt. 10:16). He also warned them to expect persecution. Finally, and most importantly He told His disciples that they should “not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say”, because “it is not you speaking but the Spirit of your Father speaking though you”.
This is a lesson for us today as we put on the full armor of God (Eph. 6:10-18) and go onto the battlefield of the lost. We need to act as sheep (not defensive wolves), expect persecution, but not be afraid because we too will be given what to say.
