Providing straightforward analysis on the intersection of contemporary issues and theology, based on a Biblical Christian Worldview.

“Leave religion to parents and churches.”

This was the concluding sentence from a spiritualist who channels angels.

A Biblical Christian worldview perspective – I wrote an article on Satan Clubs forming in public schools (details here). One of the responses came from a psychic who understandably believes that “religion” of all types should be kept exclusively inside the church and between parents and their children. In her view, and understandably the opinion of many, to inject Biblical Christianity into the public schools (Biblical curriculum being offered as a course), courtrooms (Ten Commandments) and other public spaces is a form of “grooming”, especially for kids.

My response to her well thought out and lengthy comment was, in retrospect, perhaps too direct. However, in my defense, reviewing her website and some of her articles, it was a classic case of offering fragments of Biblical truth scattered among deep and pervasive lies that redirect adherents away from God and Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. She offers an afterlife and reincarnation that is devoid of any consequences for sin (or any wonder at the beauty of Heaven), while using spiritual terminology to promote her mystic theology. Finally, not surprisingly, she has a very strong following on Medium promoting this metaphysical “knowledge”.

My Response

“Thanks for your personal insight… or perhaps your views come from your archangel channeling expertise. In any case, your point is the exact public point of the Satan groups, who say they don’t believe in Satan, yet promote him at their conferences, etc. (details here).

Respectfully, whether you agree or not, this country and its people have strong roots in a Biblical Christian worldview. If we had roots in Islam, we would be like Iran or other Muslim countries pushing Muhammad as they do in their schools and other public places (sometimes cutting off heads in the process). If we had strong roots in Buddhist or Hindu traditions, we would be promoting the dharma, and the Vedas would be taught as part of public curriculum (they too promoted violence on opposing religions). If our background was founded on yourself, the prophet who channels with Michael, Jophiel, Gabriel, Raphael, Ariel, Chamuel and Metatron for direction in this life and the next, you would be the Jesus Christ of this world (except for the fact that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, and you are not). So… I agree with your premise that freedom demands if one “religion” is allowed into our children’s public educational settings, our courtrooms, and other public buildings, etc. that it opens the door for other false religions to try to enter for their own representation.

However, what you miss in your analysis is that very few are interested in seeing a satanic Baphomet (goat head on a subhuman body, details here) gracing the rotunda of the Illinois state capital next to baby Jesus at Christmas. Very few in America are interested in “grooming kids” in a tradition that sends a car through the crowd in New Orleans. Nor, respectfully, are there many more than your 5k followers interested in seances with angels to determine whether a jury should convict or release a defendant in the courtroom, much less what Heaven and Hell will be like. So far anyway, Americans see more value in the 10 Commandments and a Biblical Christian worldview (though I grant you our theology is under assault). As long as that is the case, to the point of this post, as Christians, seeing the eternal value of our faith and beliefs, we will continue to expose Satan wherever he pops his evil head up so blatantly as establishing programs like Hellion Academy of Independent Learning or “HAIL” for short. In the end, it is not about a lack of freedom, it is about what society wants in the world they (we) live in.”

Prior to publishing this post we continued our conversation which included her admission that her views were not “entirely Christian or biblical” but that her spiritual foundation was a love for all of humanity and a belief that God felt the same way, without any caveats. After a brief back and forth I concluded my side of the conversation with the following…

“As you likely know my theology is that we live in a gray world as relates to good and evil, often not knowing which is which and having to choose “the lesser of evils” in our day to day decisions. However, as you would expect, I see the other side of the grave as black and white and that is where an omniscient, omnipotent and sinless God of Creation lives. That is where “anger, jealousy, etc.” as well as evil (that false love hides behind), are non-existent (in Heaven but not Hell). So, one can bask in the belief that God “loves us unconditionally” which is true, to a point. However, the full truth is that He is also righteous and our ultimate judge for the sins we commit.

As you said, we all have a right to our own opinion on a range of topics, including religion. However, that does not preclude expressing our opinions in a respectful way. For many reading this I understand what I am about to say will appear disrespectful and I apologize for that. However, from my vantage point of accepting the Bible as a guide, we are talking about matters that impact our eternal state of either bliss or pain.

If you believed that your closest friend or worst enemy could choose to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and spend eternity in Heaven or reject Him and spend eternity in Hell, you would recoil at the false teaching that reject that theology just as I do from reading your work. Your words, framed in love, are sending people to Hell. Given your attraction to fallen angels (who promote / support your “not entirely Christian or biblical” beliefs), I suspect you know that already.”

Shortly after the response above, she deleted me, which ended our conversation. I acknowledge the tone of my words were harsh and that it is God’s responsibility to judge and repay, not man’s (Rom. 2:6). Further I recognize that it is love not negativity that produces spiritual fruit in others, and have asked for His forgiveness. However, those who have a following (pastors included) and promote a theology of Hell over Heaven, in some way, my words do put me in good company…

Matthew 23:13 – “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.
