How confident are we that the Holy Spirit would “counsel” us to accept Him … or would our sin nature want to test Him or reject Him entirely? Would we find fault with His disciples as hypocritical sinners and use that against Him? Would we call Him an alien from another planet as justification for His apparent omniscience? Would we fall in line with the majority of mankind who consider Christianity false or irrelevant, not wanting to stand out and unsure if He was real? Would we use the Bible as a basis for believing we have such a clear picture of the rapture that He must be the anti-Christ rather than the Christ who has come to save the remaining remnant? Would He be arrested for causing riots due to His “hate speech” on human immorality?
