Christian Dad Assures Children The Ghost In The Closet Isn’t Real…

But It Might Be A Demon

Words of Wisdom from the Babylon Bee – There is a natural tendency for children to be afraid of the dark and to feel there are unseen enemies that come out at night while they are alone and vulnerable. Of course, secular psychologists have all the answers, but one does wonder if the innocence of a child is attuned to some realities that adults have become calloused to.

Matthew 18:3 – and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Has our immersion in the world (Philippians 3:20) resulted in a lost ability to sense the supernatural … to recognize where the battle truly resides? Are the fears of our children more real than the false belief of their parents that “there is nothing to fear; go back to bed?”

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
