There are churches that are considered friendly and those with the reputation of being off-putting to visitors. Pastors, Worship leaders, and Sunday School teachers can do everything right, but if visitors come and leave with no interaction with members, it will be perceived as a frosty church.

So, welcome those who seem to be new. Encourage them to grab a Welcome Bag as they leave. Introduce them to the pastor or Sunday School teacher that fits their demo. Offer to take them to lunch to answer any questions they might have. If you love your church and trust that it is growing disciples for Christ, tell others about it. If you don’t, and you prayerfully believe the fault is not your own sin nature, change churches. Finally, and most importantly, at the right time and place, don’t be afraid to “start talking about Jesus” (Romans 1:16) ….
