Words of Wisdom from the Babylon Bee – My take on the matter …

The Babylon Bee is notorious for its biting humor. Often the headline is crafted in such a way that one needs not go any further to understand the satirical context. However, this article is worth a deeper review (the word “Babylon Bee” is a hotlink).

In summary, “persecution” faced by American Christians includes limited church choices, gluten-free pancakes, the struggle to find parking, and the avoidance of theology that might offend.

The Lord warns us that persecution should be a real part of our sanctification experience. And, in many parts of the world (Nigeria as a currently publicized example), it is. American Biblical Christians need to stiffen our resolve (and backbone) because real maltreatment is headed to a neighborhood/workplace near you.
